Dear Glee fans, if you liked this past weeks version of ‘baby got back’ in stead of buying the Glee version buy this one. Jonathan Coulton is the originator of the arrangement on Glee and received no money/ credit from Glee, nor did they ask his permission. Even though he can do nothing about it legally, he decided to re-release his original cover labeled “in the style of Glee” as a joke. All of the proceeds for this song will go to the it gets better project and the save the music foundation. … money for Glee songs line the pockets of Fox executives which they further use to take advantage of the talent of other less-known artists.
tl;dr: Glee ripped off JoCo (even though they make enough money to hire someone else to write their music) and JoCo took the high road

Wow. I’m sure you’ve all seen this girl’s fantastic tardis dress floating around here the last week or so. She hand painted the inside and everything, and she just looks plain great. But of course, I see it posted on facebook, and the slew of comments begin.
I don’t think it’s a mystery as to why I, as a bigger girl, spend the week before a convention crying because I’m so nervous about what people are going to say about me just because I want to dress up and have fun like everyone else. And there is something really, really fucking wrong with that.
wow wtf is wrong with people. the dress is incredible, it’s flattering on her body type, and she looks great! why is it so hard to be a goddamn decent human being? i’ve been on the receiving end of hateful comments about the opposite side of the weight spectrum and you just can’t win unless you’re just totally average it’s NOT COOL YOU GUYS
